Children's Ministry

Jesus said in Matthew 19:14 "Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." Since our Savior placed such an importance on children, we do as well.

Here at Open Door we have a heart for children and strive to teach them the ways of Jesus Christ through sound Bible teaching, instruction, and fellowship with each other. We offer classes that are age appropriate as well as children's church for K4 - 4th grade.

Our goal is to see children grow up in the way that Jesus did in Luke 2:52 "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man." We want the children to grow strong spiritually, physically, mentally, and socially. The aim of the different classes and children's ministries are to aid in developing the children in these four areas.

The purpose of our children's ministry is fulfilled through the Bambinos, Gumshoes, and Awana ministries. Check each of these out in the menu!
