While serving in the United States Air Force, Pastor Danny received Christ as his Savior in 2009. Having a strong desire to learn the truths of God's word, he began his academic pursuit. He received his Bachelor's in Religion and his Masters degree in Theological Studies, both from Liberty University. He was ordained in June 2013 and since retiring from the military, he has accepted the call to be the Assistant Pastor for Open Door in 2020. Pastor Danny has a passion for Christian Apologetics and teaching people how to accurately exegete God's word, and has authored four books: LOTUS: A Free Grace Response to TULIP, The Fullness of Forever: A Study of the Quality of Eternal Life, Investigating Lordship Salvation, and A Biblical Sketch: Free Grace Theology; if you would like free copies of either of the books, you may contact us. He has been married for over 24 years to his wife Rebecca, and together they have two children.
