While serving in the United States Air Force, Pastor Danny received Christ as his Savior in 2009. Having a strong desire to learn the truths of God's word, he began his academic pursuit. He received his Bachelor's in Religion and his Masters degree in Theological Studies, both from Liberty University. He was ordained in June 2013 and since retiring from the military, he has accepted the call to be the Associate Pastor for Open Door in 2020. Pastor Danny has a passion for Christian Apologetics and teaching people how to accurately exegete God's word, and has authored two books: Investigating Lordship Salvation, and A Biblical Sketch: Free Grace Theology, both of which can be found on the C4C Apologetics page. He has been married for over 20 years to his wife Rebecca, and together they have two children.
