The Forge

Our men's ministry is centered around 1 Peter 2:17 where we are admonished to "love the brotherhood." With this, we seek to grow together as godly men through monthly outings, events, prayer, Scripture study and reflection. This is where the Forge comes into play, a place to shape, mold, and temper one another through strong relationships and unity.

This ministry is a reflection of Genuine Family. Discipleship of men, young and elder, is very important to the ministry here. We believe in a New Testament, Christ-like approach of coming alongside and spending time with each other. One of the best ways to disciple each other is through simply sharing time together as husbands, fathers, brothers, sons, and leaders of our community and homes.

Througout the year there are various activities planned to foster the natural bond of Christian men, forging ourselves in a stronger bond. We encourage you to consider joining us for one or more of our annual activities. 

The highlight of the year is the Annual Men's Campout which takes place the first Friday in November. This is an overnight campout where we spend the evening around the campfire, discuss spiritual matters, encourage each other, connect, and pray. Also, there is a devotional that is given and the next morning a physical challenge (many of our men have military or LEO backgrounds) to cater to our competitive side.
